Bought a 32 ford 5 window coupe perfect body and cut down to race trim. Chopped - channeled and Z'ed frame. Bought a 327 HP engine ( the big engine then) put it together on the garage floor and went racing.

Alan has been involved in racing his entire life. Beginning in the garage when he first began to walk. He helped build race cars and engines and was Crew Chief for his Dad until he started driving.
Alan's first race was in a home built Super-modified. He drove very well and smoothly. Looked like a natural born Champion!
